Hi,

I have a D-Link 504T ADSL Modem and when I set the Virtual Server settings to allow incoming mail to my server, it seems to just loose the settings after a short period of time.  Sometimes it is overnight, but other times it keeps them for more than a week. I have double checked that I am saving the configuration and restarting each time I make the changes but it doesn't seem to hang onto the settings.  All other settings appear to stay without issue.

Has anyone seen this issue before? or can someone point me to what to do?

Thanks,

Jon

Firmware Upgrade

Jon,

I am not an expert on the D-Link 504T, bu from what I can find in google, it appears that the earlier firmware versions had an issue with loosing the Virtual Server configuration.  I would suggest an upgrade to the latest firmware and see if that fixes the issue.  Generally a firmware upgrade is good advice on these sort of devices anyway.

The Current version is: V3.02B01T01.AU.20080827 (for the Gen II model)

Link to D-Link site for D-Link 504T:  http://www.dlink.com.au/tech/default.asp?model=DSL-504T

The firmware download and instructions can be found under the "Downloads" menu option.

PS: Let us know how you go with it

Cheers,

Aaron
