Hi Aaron!

Saw you on the Spiceworks community and as we are practically neighbours, I thought, I'll join your forums. Hope you don't mind.

I am also evaluating ManageEngine as a potential alternative to Spiceworks for sites with no more than 10 workstations, which is the free version's limit.

If you are ever up on the Lower North Shore, give us a "Hoy" and let's have a coffee.

No Worries at all.  Glad to have you on board.

I quite like the look of v3 of Spiceworks, haven't had a chance to look to closely at it yet though.

How have you found ManageEngine so far?

I also trialled Kaseya as an MSP type monitoring tool, which works pretty well.

Next time I am planning a North Sydney visit I will drop you a PM.

Cheers,
Aaron ;D

Re: Spiceworks versus the rest

Kaseya wanted me to mortgage my house! It was $14k to buy or some silly per seat price that I could never get my SMB clients to wear LOL.

ManageEngine looks promising, but I have yet to come to a conclusion.

See ya'

Paul, Found a new MSP product

Paul,

Found a new MSP product called "N-able" which looks pretty promising.  They have a hosted version which is a little pricey at about $4/mth/device or a installable version which I am getting some pricing on.

They offer a 12month / 20 device licence for their hosted version for all Microsoft partners if you are keen to check it out.

The website is http://www.n-able.com . Look for "Microsoft Partner" special for the free 12 month licence.

Cheers,
Aaron
